Making 160 characters count

People read your bio after one of your posts catches them. It has to tell them why they should follow.

Say what you are known for, fast

Start with your subject in plain words, such as "product designer" or "handmade furniture". It tells people at once if your posts are for them, and plain words are the ones people type into X search.

Add proof, without bragging

One real detail does more than a list of adjectives: your role, how long you've done it, or something you've made. Keep it true and specific. "10 years designing apps" says more than "passionate designer".

Say what people get for following

End with what you post about, like “I post about pricing for freelancers”. Your website has its own field under the bio, so the bio doesn't need to point to it. Then keep your profile worth the follow: write your next posts and schedule them with Posttyy.
