Questions, answered
Do I need to install anything?
No. You paste one address into your assistant — https://www.posttyy.com/mcp — and sign in to Posttyy. There's nothing to download and no key to copy.
Which assistants work?
ChatGPT, Claude, Claude Code, Cursor and OpenClaw, and any other app that can connect to a remote MCP server with sign-in. On ChatGPT it needs developer mode, which is on paid ChatGPT plans.
Which networks can it post to?
X, Instagram, Threads, Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube. Instagram and YouTube need a photo or video on every post. For TikTok it can save a draft, which you preview and schedule in Posttyy.
Can it post photos and videos?
Yes. In ChatGPT, attach the photo or video to your message. In any assistant, you can give it a link to the file, or it sends you a link to Posttyy's upload page, where you add the file from your phone or computer. Videos from a link can be up to 100 MB; the upload page takes up to 512 MB.
Can it change a post after it's scheduled?
Yes, until it goes out: the words, the photos, the accounts and the time. It can also schedule a draft. A repeating post is changed in Posttyy, where you choose which posts of the series change.
Will it post without asking me?
Claude and ChatGPT ask before they use a connected app, unless you tell them not to. And every post it schedules appears on your Posttyy calendar, where you can change or delete it before it goes out.
Which plans include it?
Growth and Pro. Every plan starts with 7 days free. If you move to a plan without it, your assistant loses access straight away.
Does my assistant get my password?
No. You sign in on Posttyy's own page, and your assistant gets a key that only works with Posttyy. It can't connect or remove accounts itself — it gives you the link to do that in Posttyy — or change your plan.
How do I disconnect it?
Remove Posttyy from your assistant's connectors or apps.
