Every Pinterest image size in 2026
Pinterest recommends 1000 × 1500. The square and tall pins are common alternatives, and the tall pin is the most Pinterest shows before cutting it.

Why the right size matters on Pinterest
Pinterest is a feed of tall pictures side by side. The shape of your pin decides how much room it gets.
2:3 is the pin to start with
Pinterest recommends a 2:3 pin, 1000 × 1500 pixels. It's tall enough to stand out in the feed without being cut. A square pin works too, but it gets less room next to taller ones.
Taller than 1:2.1 gets cut
A very tall pin is trimmed at the bottom in the feed, so the 1000 × 2100 tall pin is as far as it's worth going. Keep the headline and the product near the top, where people see them first.
