Getting a TikTok bio right in 80 characters

People open your profile after one of your videos catches them. Your bio has a second to make them follow.

Say what you post

Start with your subject in plain words, such as "home workouts" or "easy dinners". It tells a new viewer at once whether more of your videos are for them.

Give a reason to follow

A schedule ("new recipe every Friday"), a promise ("no gym, no kit") or a series gives people something to come back for. With 80 characters, one of these is enough.
