What makes a post people stop for

The timeline moves fast. A post has about a second to give someone a reason to stay.

Lead with the point

The first line is often all people read. Put the news, the opinion or the useful part there, and leave out warm-ups like "Exciting news!". Every tweet the generator writes starts with the part that matters.

Short beats long

One hashtag, or none

On X, hashtags help people find a post about an event or a topic, but more than one or two looks like spam. That is why the generator adds none unless you ask. How does the tweet generator work?

Do the tweets fit X's character limit?

Yes. Every tweet is counted the way X counts characters, and only tweets of 280 characters or fewer are shown.

Is the tweet generator free?

Yes. It is free, with no login and no sign-up. To keep it free for everyone, each person can write up to 30 sets of tweets a day.

Should I use hashtags on X?

Use one or two at most, and only when they name an event or a topic people follow. Posts with many hashtags look like spam and often get less engagement.

Should I edit the tweets before posting?

Yes. Add the details only you know, such as a date, a price or a name, and change any words that don't sound like you. The generator doesn't know these, so add them yourself.

What happens to what I type?

Your description is sent to OpenAI, whose AI writes the tweets. Posttyy doesn't save your description or the tweets.

Can I schedule the tweet?

Yes. Press Use in Posttyy under a tweet. Posttyy opens a new post with that tweet in it, so you can add a photo and schedule it. If you don't have an account yet, you create one first, and the tweet waits for you.
