Getting a Facebook bio right in 101 characters

Your bio sits near the top of your Page, where new visitors decide whether you're what they were looking for.

Say what you do, plainly

Many people find a business Page by searching Facebook or Google for something nearby, such as "bakery" or "electrician". Name what you do in those words, so they know at once they've found the right place.

Give one reason to choose you

"Made to order", "friendly and tidy" or "for nervous dogs": one detail that sets you apart is enough. With 101 characters, the bio can't say everything, and doesn't need to.

Leave the details to Facebook's own fields
