Why start a caption from the photo
A caption should add to the picture, not just repeat it. Starting from the photo gives you three angles to pick from.
Three different angles
One caption says what's in the photo, one tells the story or feeling behind it, and one ends with a question for your followers. Questions get comments, and comments tell every network people care.
Add what the photo can't show
The AI only knows what it can see. If there's a price, a date, a place or an offer, put it in the note and the captions will use it. It won't invent them.
Finish it with hashtags

How does the image caption generator work?
Upload a photo and pick a tone. AI looks at the photo and writes three captions about it, each from a different angle. Add a note to tell it anything the photo doesn't show.
Which networks are the captions for?
Any of them. Each caption is under 300 characters, which fits Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and Threads. X allows 280 on a standard account, so pick a shorter one there or trim it.
Is the image caption generator free?
Yes. It is free, with no login and no sign-up. To keep it free for everyone, each person can use it up to 30 times a day.
Why are there no hashtags?
Hashtags work best when you pick them for your audience, and each network treats them differently. Use the free hashtag generators to get ideas, then add the few that fit.
What happens to my photo?
Your photo is shrunk in your browser and sent to OpenAI, whose AI writes the captions. Posttyy doesn't save your photo or the captions.
Can I schedule the caption?
Yes. Press Use in Posttyy under a caption. Posttyy opens a new post with that caption in it, so you can add your photo and schedule it. If you don't have an account yet, you create one first, and the caption waits for you.
