The number of different people who saw a post, counting each person once.
Reach counts people; impressions count views. A post seen twice by 500 people has a reach of 500 and 1,000 impressions.
Reach shows how far a post travelled beyond the people who engaged with it. Divided by followers, it shows what share of your audience a post actually got to.
